Drozd Named Director of Instructional Technology
Shakopee
Public Schools has named Bryan Drozd the District’s new Director of
Instructional Technology. Drozd will supervise the day-to-day operations of the
technology department, integrate technology with teaching and learning, and
strategize the implementation of best practices as it relates to technology and
learning.
Drozd has more than 18 years of related professional experience,
all within education. He has spent the past eight years as Director of
Technology at the Lyons Elementary District 103 in the greater Chicago area.
Prior to that, he spent 10 years as a Technology Coordinator at Cook County
School District 104.
Drozd completed his bachelor’s degree from the University of
Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in secondary education. He also holds a Master of
Education degree in curriculum and technology from the University of Phoenix
and a Master of Arts in Education degree in leadership and administration from
Benedictine University.
Bryan has a wife, Mary, and two boys ages five and three. He will begin his duties on Monday, July 20.
